Visitors Guide
Whether you've attended church your
whole life, or never stepped foot in a church even
once, Maumee Valley Church is a safe place to bring
your doubts, questions and curiosity, regardless of
your beliefs or background. We invite you to come
and take a look around. We have wonderful programs
for children, youth, and adults alike. However, what
you’ll find more than great programs is a community
of people who truly desire to come together in the
presence of God. You’ll notice:
* A casual atmosphere
* Friendly faces who'll help you find your way
around
* High-energy music and engaging Biblical preaching
* Welcoming children's and youth facilities
What time are the services?
Adult Sunday School located in
the Sanctuary starts at 9:30 am
Youth Sunday School located in the youth room starts
at 9:30 am
Church Service for all age groups begins at 10:45 am
How Should I dress?
Whatever you are comfortable
wearing, on Sunday mornings you will find members of
our congregation is dressed in jeans, ties, suits.
What is available for
kids?
Maumee Valley offers a wide array
of children programs! Sunday School, Children's
Church or a Nursery Maumee Valley Church has these
programs every Sunday.
Sunday School:
9:30 am in the youth room
Children's Church:
Bring your children to the Sanctuary for Music
Worship- Children's Church will start shortly
after this, they will be dismissed. You can pick
your children up immediately after the services
in the basement classrooms
Nursery:
Located in the basement of the church. Please
register your child with one of the nursery
workers.
What type of music will
there be?
Contemporary music is the norm
for Sunday morning service. There are occasions when
timeless hymns are used. Our view that the use of
music is a powerful way to worship. If you are
interested in getting involved with our worship band
we are always looking for volunteers. Contact Nate

Will there be offering?
Offerings are an act of worship
by our attendees who consider Maumee Valley their
Home. Offerings is viewed at Maumee Valley as
something you want to do. We will never pressure
anyone in to giving and all giving is 100%
confidential. For visitors your presence is a gift
to us. We want you to be blessed by the service
without feeling the obligation to give.
How long will church
service last?
Church service is typically over
around noon.
What denomination are you?
Maumee Valley is a
nondenominational church. We are affiliated with
Grace Brethren International. You can learn more

Information
- Visit the
counter to your left as you walk through the
main doors. You will find the following
information: Visitors Card (place in offering
plate), Monthly Newsletter, Monthly Calendar.
- Spend sometime
looking around our Church/Grounds, get familiar
with the youth room, basement classrooms and our
back yard that is a host to many of our
activities that include a pond, soccer field,
sand volleyball, softball diamond, bon fire ring
and much more
- Ask as many
questions as possible, talk with the pastor or
any of the the elders/deacons to get answers to
any of your questions.
