The Basis of Christian Fellowship
 

a. Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died in your place to pay your debt of sin. You have acknowledged that debt and accepted His payment on your behalf and His Gift of life forever. As a public testimony of your new life in Christ, you are baptized. (John 3:16, John 1:12, Matt. 28:19-20, Rom. 6:23)

b. Believe that there is only one God, existing in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Gen. 1:1, Acts 5:3-4, 2 Cor. 13:14)

c. Believe that salvation is by grace through faith plus nothing. (Eph. 2:8-9, Titus 3:5-7)

d. Believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and infallible as originally given, and is our only rule of faith and practice. The translations available are trustworthy, accurate copies of those originals. (2 Tim. 3:16) NAS, NKJ, NIV, NRSV, NEV

e. Believe that Christ calls you to demonstrate your faith by daily offering yourself as a living and holy sacrifice, while growing in your love for God and others, thus developing true community as part of the body of Christ. (Rom. 12:1-2, Matt. 22:36-40, Eph. 4:16)

f. Believe that you are to impact the world by sharing the Good News through word and good deeds, and involvement in your community. (Matt. 5:13-16)

g. Believe that Jesus Christ will return in bodily form to the earth to judge unbelievers and to be glorified in His saints. (Acts 1:11, 2 Thess. 1:7-10)
